How the Gift Style Shopify app handles data. Questions: use our contact form.
Data we process
- Our database stores the login details that connect the app to your store.
- For orders that include gift options, we store only the order ID, date, currency and amounts (order total, option revenue, upsell revenue). We use this to count gift orders for your plan and to show your dashboard. We do not store customer names, addresses, emails or phone numbers. These statistics are kept for up to one year and then deleted automatically.
- On paid plans, the app adds tags (for example “Gift Style”) to those orders in your store.
- Settings you create are stored in your own Shopify store, not on our servers.
- Gift messages and options a shopper chooses are saved with the order in your Shopify store, so you can fulfill it.
We do not collect or store customers’ personal data on our servers, and we never sell data or use it for ads.
Data deletion
We follow Shopify’s required data-protection rules. Because we keep no customer personal data, there is nothing on our side to return or erase for a customer. When you uninstall the app, the login records and gift-order statistics we kept for your store are deleted.
Security
Data in transit uses TLS. Access tokens are removed on uninstall. This policy may be updated; see the date above.
Terms of use and data protection
By installing or using Gift Style, you (the merchant) agree to these terms. They form the data protection agreement between you and us for the data described on this page.
- Roles. You control your store data. We process it only on your behalf, only to provide the app’s features, and only as described on this page.
- Purpose. We use order data only to detect gift orders, count them for your plan, show your dashboard and, on paid plans, tag those orders. We never sell data or use it for advertising or profiling.
- Minimum data. We do not access or store customer names, emails, phone numbers or addresses.
- Retention and deletion. Gift-order statistics are kept for up to one year and then deleted automatically. When you uninstall the app, all data we hold for your store is deleted.
- Security. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is limited to what is needed to run the app.
- Service providers. The app runs on Google Cloud (hosting) and Neon (database). They process data only to host the app.
- Incidents. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your data, we will notify you without undue delay.
- Your responsibilities. You are responsible for informing your own customers about how your store handles their data (for example, in your store’s privacy policy).
- Changes. We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.

取り扱うデータ
- 当社のデータベースには、アプリとストアをつなぐログイン情報を保存します。
- ギフトオプション付きの注文については、注文ID・日時・通貨・金額（注文合計・オプション売上・アップセル売上）だけを保存します。プランの件数計算とダッシュボードの表示に使います。お客様の氏名・住所・メールアドレス・電話番号は保存しません。この集計は最長1年間保管し、その後自動で削除します。
- 有料プランでは、該当する注文にタグ（例：「Gift Style」）を付けます。
- お店で作成した設定内容は、当社ではなくお店自身の Shopify ストア内に保存されます。
- お客様が入力したメッセージや選んだ内容は、配送のために注文情報として Shopify ストアに保存されます。
当社サーバーにお客様の個人データを収集・保存することはありません。データの販売・広告利用も行いません。
データの削除
Shopify が定めるデータ保護のルールに従っています。お客様の個人データを保持していないため、お客様について当社側で返却・削除するものはありません。アプリをアンインストールすると、保存していたストアのログイン情報とギフト注文の集計は削除されます。
セキュリティ
通信は TLS で保護。アクセストークンはアンインストール時に削除。本ポリシーは随時更新（最新は上記の日付）。
利用規約・データ保護
Gift Style をインストールまたは利用することで、マーチャント（お店）は本規約に同意したものとします。本規約は、このページに記載したデータの取り扱いに関する、マーチャントと当社との間のデータ保護の取り決めです。
- 役割：ストアのデータを管理するのはマーチャントです。当社はマーチャントのためにのみ、アプリの機能を提供する目的で、本ページの記載の範囲でデータを取り扱います。
- 目的：注文データは、ギフト注文の判定、プランのための件数計算、ダッシュボードの表示、有料プランでの注文へのタグ付けにのみ使います。データの販売、広告・プロファイリングへの利用は行いません。
- 最小限のデータ：お客様の氏名・メールアドレス・電話番号・住所にはアクセスせず、保存もしません。
- 保管と削除：ギフト注文の集計は最長1年間保管し、その後自動で削除します。アプリをアンインストールすると、そのストアについて当社が保有するデータはすべて削除されます。
- 安全対策：データは通信時（TLS）・保存時ともに暗号化します。アクセスはアプリの運用に必要な範囲に限定します。
- 委託先：アプリは Google Cloud（ホスティング）と Neon（データベース）で運用しています。これらはアプリの稼働のためにのみデータを扱います。
- 事故時の対応：マーチャントのデータに関わるセキュリティ上の事故を把握した場合、速やかにお知らせします。
- マーチャントの責任：お店のお客様に対するデータの取り扱いの説明（お店のプライバシーポリシー等）は、マーチャントの責任で行ってください。
- 変更：本規約は変更することがあります。最新版は上記の日付でご確認ください。変更後も利用を続けた場合、変更後の規約に同意したものとします。
